چکیده

We seek investigate the use of fractional derivatives, both analytically and through simulations. derivate some models perform investigations about them, discussing difficulties differences between classic models. Also, we analyzed COVID-19 pandemic using a epidemiological SIR model performed numerical analysis finite implementation in MATLAB.

Fractional Derivatives Applied to Phase Space Reconstructions

The concept and application of phase-space reconstructions are reviewed. Fractional derivatives are then proposed for the purpose of reconstructing dynamics from a single observed time history. A procedure is presented in which the fractional derivatives of time series data are obtained in the frequency domain. The method is applied to the Lorenz system. The ability of the method to unfold the ...

Extending Bauer’s corollary to fractional derivatives

We comment on some recent attempts to model nonconservative systems with fractional derivatives. It is proven that it is impossible to derive a single, retarded equation of motion using a variational principle under certain reasonable assumptions. PACS: 45.20.-d, 02.30.-f

Fractional Calculus Applied to Model Arterial Viscoelasticity

−− Arterial viscoelasticity can be described using stress-relaxation experiments. To fit these curves, models with springs and dashpots, based on differential equations, were widely studied. However, uniaxial tests in arteries show particular shapes with an initial steep decay and a slow asymptotic relaxation. Recently, fractional order derivatives were used to conceive a new component called s...

Intertwining Certain Fractional Derivatives

We obtain an intertwining relation between some Riemann-Liouville operators of order α ∈ (1, 2), connecting through a certain multiplicative identity in law the one-dimensional marginals of reflected completely asymmetric α−stable Lévy processes. An alternative approach based on recurrent extensions of positive self-similar Markov processes and exponential functionals of Lévy processes is also ...
